We are excited to announce our partnership with the Vermont Voltage Premier Soccer Club! Vermont Voltage and its Vermont Voltage Professional Soccer Academy have been a benchmark of professionalism for two decades now. As a locally owned and run organization, Voltage has seen thousands of kids come through their soccer camps and positively influencing children’s lives. Through their compassion, commitment and strong work ethic, Voltage raised the bar in quality and shaped characters and our beloved Vermont’s soccer landscape. Vermont Patriots will be sending children to the Voltage week long camps through scholarships, utilizing the Sparky Foundation and donated scholarships by the Vermont Voltage.
The Vermont Voltage owner, Bo Vuckovic, a Franklin Pierce legend and former professional with many clubs in the US, always envisioned access to quality soccer for all Vermonters. During our conversations he explained that he believes “the Vermont Patriots’ mission and vision are what the next generation of Vermont’s soccer enthusiasts needs” and without hesitation will support our efforts.
Bo is an absolute expert within the sport. He has been successful on many fronts, and currently he is displaying his passion, experience, and expertise at the world stage. After acquiring his FIFA/UEFA A Pro License, Bo coached the U19 Serbian women’s national team, surprising experts with a 2-0 win over the European powerhouse Portugal during the European Championship qualifications this spring. He will be advising the Vermont Patriots coaching staff of latest youth soccer development initiatives, and needless to say, our alliance will enrich the Vermont Patriots and each participating child.
Unless you are in Belgrade, Serbia, the only chance to catch Bo in action will be at the Vermont Voltage Soccer camps this summer. They have many options including half day, full day, and residential camps at various locations in Vermont.
